gSpeed Covalent Family,

As we close out 2025, we wanted to share a brief holiday update and reflect on what has been a defining year for Covalent. This year marked a clear evolution, from a behind-the-scenes data provider to a company building visible, high-leverage products on top of a world-class data foundation. None of this would have been possible without your continued support, and we’re deeply grateful to have you alongside us.

At the start of the year, we doubled down on our core strength, reliable, verifiable onchain data at global scale. We expanded GoldRush distribution through partners like Google Cloud, strengthened enterprise adoption, and invested heavily in speed. That focus culminated
mid-year with the launch of our Sub-Second Data Co-Processor, enabling labeled, verifiable blockchain data to stream in milliseconds. Particularly useful for ultra-fast chains, this capability has proven critical for sub-second applications, HFT trading systems, and AI-driven workflows.

The most visible shift in 2025, however, was our move closer to builders and end users. In Q3, we launched SpeedRun, an inference platform that allows anyone to build and deploy onchain apps using natural language. SpeedRun combines Covalent’s ultra-fast data, one-click deployments, Clanker support, and native x402 payments into a single surface. Early builders have already shipped dashboards, games, and experiments in minutes demonstrating a new, more accessible model for onchain creation. SpeedRun represents more than a product launch, it reflects Covalent’s broader evolution into a more front-facing, community-centric platform.

Throughout the year, growing protocol usage compounded directly into the launch of the Covalent’s Strategic Reserve. As designed, revenue generated from data usage is deployed to acquire $CXT from the open market and sequester it into the reserve. Over time, the Strategic Reserve functions as a durable capital base that targets ~10% of the total circulating $CXT, reinforcing long-term alignment, and giving the network increasing financial resilience and strategic optionality.

We also expanded our ecosystem footprint meaningfully. Covalent supported over 150+ chains by year-end, including day-one integrations with high-performance networks like Base's flashblocks, Sonic, Solana, both of Hyperliquid’s chains (HyperEVM and HyperCore), ADI, Plasma, and most recently Arc. From enterprise platforms processing data for hundreds of thousands of wallets to fast-moving builder ecosystems, Covalent increasingly sits at the intersection of speed, reliability, and scale.

We’re closing the year with strong momentum. This week alone, SpeedRun added support for Base Mini Apps, opening a new distribution channel for lightweight onchain applications, while GoldRush expanded support for new production chains. These launches are early signals of where we’re headed next.

Looking ahead to 2026, our focus is clear. With the fastest and most comprehensive onchain data pipelines in the industry, we are beginning to layer intelligence and inference directly on top of that foundation. SpeedRun is only the first expression of this direction.

As always, thank you for your trust and conviction. Covalent’s progress this year reflects not just execution, but a shared belief in building durable infrastructure for the next era of crypto. We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to continuing this journey together in 2026.

Warm regards,

The Covalent Team
