    EWM Light Client FAQ

I don’t see my Light Client (LC) on the leaderboard. Why?

The leaderboard resets daily, so you will only see your address listed if your Light Client was active that day.

Do I get more tasks if my uptime is higher?

Yes! The higher your uptime, the more tasks you will receive. For example, if your LC has 12 hours of uptime, you will receive significantly more tasks compared to only 1, 2, or 3 hours of uptime.

Do I need to back up the wallet I use to run the Light Client?

Yes, you are responsible for backing up the wallet you create to run the LC. However, keep in mind that you will use a different wallet for the mainnet.

What are the rewards for participating in the testnet?

Valid testnet participants will receive bonus rewards on top of the rewards they earn when running the Light Client on mainnet.

Can a person run multiple Light Clients?

Yes! You can run multiple Light Clients using the same burner address, but you will need to create different IDs for each one.

Where can I ask for help if I encounter issues with my Light Client?

You can join our Discord channel to speak with the team or connect with others running Light Clients.

How much CXT do I need to run the Light Client on mainnet?

You will need 5000 CXT per Light Client on mainnet.

Can I run the Light Client alongside other nodes or software I am running?

Yes! The Light Client is lightweight and open-source, so you can easily run it alongside other infrastructure.

How many people will be allowed to run Light Clients on mainnet?

Mainnet onboarding will occur in seasons, with each season onboarding roughly 2000 Light Clients.

Do I get my 5000 CXT back when I’m done running the Light Client?

Yes, your initial stake of 5000 CXT will be returned when you are done running the Light Client.
